more updates

http://www.gtplanet.net/yamauchi-on-gt5s-mechanical-damage-updates-more/

basically, the reason i've never seen damage is because they hadn't released the patch yet. head tracking doesn't work unless you're playing in arcade (which begs the question as to why they bothered including it at all) and some more stuff will be coming in the future. i'm fine with constantly updating a game, as long as it's free. it makes perfect sense for a company like polyphony which is never happy with a released product.

i am concerned with the fact that i can't get gt5 to talk with my psp so i can dl the five cars i bought, the one time i played gt psp. i'm going to google it and see if i can find an answer. maybe it's one more thing that i'll be able to do whenever polyphony decides to get around with it. who knew it was much more important to include shitty wwii german transport vehicles instead of working on making the game do what it's supposed to. ah, the mind of an obsessive japanese man...

*edit: my 07 sti suffered damage during a b-spec race. i'd like to say that all premium cars take damage, but my rx-8 doesn't. maybe because it's a want-to-be rally car?

more editing: there appears to be damage on all types of cars, you just really have to bash the fuck out of a car multiple times for it to show up. one retarded b-spec driver is usually enough to get the job done.
